Lilies are tall perennials under the genus Lilium, which are herbaceous flowers classified as ‘true lilies.’ This notes comparison to other flowers commonly recognized with the word ‘lily’ in its name but are not part of the same genus.

Asiatic Lilies. Despite its lack of scent and size, these types of lilies are still one of the most sought for because they last long, needs little maintenance, and comes in different radiant colors.

Easter Lilies. Scientifically known as Longiflorim Lilies, this type of lily is one of the most popular lilies species as it is the commonly selected flower on holidays and other special events. The classic white bulb blooming flower on Easter is also a crowd favorite since it’s easy to grow, scented, and long-lasting.
