Find Out Your Floroscope: Be Guided By The Flower For Your Star Sign (Part 2)

In our last blog, we identified the flowers corresponding to the first six astrological signs. Let’s continue getting to know the blooms that represent the other half of the zodiac.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

The rose is the zodiac flower for those born with an eye for classic beauty. Librans love to surround themselves with beautiful things. Being ruled by Venus which is the planet of beauty, there’s no question why Librans adore a life that looks good. People born under this sign are also considered as romantic, charming, flirtatious, and self-indulgent similar to how a rose flower presents itself.

Aster is another flower associated with this astrological sign. Aster is a daisy-like flower that you can find in just about any color. It is considered as a symbol of elegance, a talisman of love, and as a sacred flower of the Greek and Roman gods. Aster’s cheerful appearance matches the easygoing and sociable nature of those born under the Libra sign.

Other flowers associated with the Libra sign are hydrangea, daisy, and blue-colored flowers.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Displaying spectacular blossoms, Rhododendron flowers feature blooms in different shapes and colors. You’ll find this flower in pure white, apricot, salmon, deep red, soft pink, deep purple, and even blue. Their showy and exuberant floral display are known to bring l beauty and warmth to floral arrangements. This flower exudes a positive energy that makes bouquets look extra cheerful and optimistic. With all these, it isn’t surprising that rhododendron is considered as the zodiac flower of Scorpio. Rhododendron indeed represents how Scorpio signs make a statement wherever they go. They share the same trait of being unafraid to blaze their own trail regardless of what people will think.

Another flower that matches the exciting and magnetic nature of Scorpions is geranium. This iconic bloom with bright and bold colors stands for ingenuity, melancholy, gentility, friendship, and sometimes foolishness. It’s a flower that also depicts a Scorpio’s passionate, loyal, determined, intuitive, empathetic, and intense character.

Other flowers associated with the Scorpio sign are Black-Eyed Susan, holly, anemone, heather, and gardenia.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Carnations and their spiky petals that look as if the edge were cut with pinking shears reflect a Sagittarian’s strong-willed personality. It’s the perfect flower for those born under the Sagittarius zodiac sign who are known for being unafraid to step away from the pack and go off the beaten path.

Another flower associated with this astrological sign is the Dandelion. A familiar flowering plant, dandelions are world-famous for their beauty and their hardiness. They can endure many conditions and will grow well wherever you plant them. Like dandelions, Sagittarians are also big-spirited, truthful, steadfast, tenacious, and adventurous.

Other flowers associated with the Sagittarius sign are peony and clematis.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

For the tenth sign in the zodiac, Ivy and Pansy are the flowers that mirror your personality. Ivy is a clinging evergreen vine that produces greenish-white or greenish-yellow blooms in an umbrella-like spread. Pansy, on the other hand, is an easy-to-grow flowering plant that tends to form natural hybrids as their appearance gets affected by their growing conditions. Ivy and Pansy both clearly depicts a Capricorn’s tenacity and their readiness to learn new skills. These flowers reflect a Capricorn’s hardworking, ambitious, and disciplined attitude that made them so great at climbing the corporate ladder.

Other flowers associated with the Capricorn sign are camellia, baby’s breath, magnolia,

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Calla Lily is an extraordinary bloom much like the unique Aquarian. You might be familiar with how tough it is to describe a person born under the eleventh sign in the zodiac. Aquarians are so incredibly individual you simply can’t label them. They’re quite like how calla lilies differ in required care. White calla lilies are semi-aquatic and a bit thirsty while the colorful hybrid calla lilies are more comfortable in warmer locations and well-drained soil.

The orchid flower is also associated with the Aquarius sign given its unique and exotic look.

Other flowers associated with the Aquarius sign are orchids, Solomon’s Seal, Goldenrain, Bird of Paradise, and gladiolus.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Perceptive Pisces has water running through her sign making the water lily her best flower match.

Water lilies produce fragrant and beautiful flowers in different colors – from pink, peach, and purple to vibrant yellow, bright red, and exquisite red-black.  This blossoming water-dweller plays an important role in the aquatic ecosystem. Water lilies’ flowers and pads prevent algae from growing in excess and provide shelter for fish. Rooted in the mud, water lilies also have a spiritual symbol; they represent rebirth and enlightenment.

Water lily flowers reflect the Pisces character – in tune with the magic of everyday existence, soulful, nurturing, selfless, and tolerant. Pisces, like the water lily, can thrive healthily in the world above – one that everyone sees - while being rooted in a world of their own design and understanding. View all our Lilies.

Other flowers associated with the Pisces sign are yarrow, lilac, orchid, and poppy.

Flower gift-giving will surely be a lot more interesting and thoughtful for you, too. When sending a fresh flower gift to someone you care about, choose a bouquet that highlights the recipient’s zodiac flower. Your gift will certainly be appreciated as it reflects your loved one’s personality and character.
